"A German surveyor's tripod and a tugboat searchlight may not appear to have much in common, but vintage lighting designer Scott Feen struck salvage gold when he paired the two, this photo. Four coats of polyurethane varnish preserve the chrome-plated searchlight's salt-infused patina.
