Cape Cod Coffee Roasters
348 Main Street, Mashapee
Founded in 1970 in Hyannis, Cape Cod Coffee Roasters moved to its location at 348 Main St. in Mashpee in 1985. Molly MacGregor, along with her sister, Cate, acquired the business in 2011 and renovated the space by repurposing locally reclaimed and salvaged materials. The result? A brighter, airy and inviting space—with a fresh coffee aroma, of course—as soon as you walk through the door.
For the counters and window trim, artist Scott Feen from Atlantic Workshop used reclaimed wood from the old Howard Johnson’s in Provincetown. The rustic metal under the counter came from a salvage yard in Cranston, RI. Using repurposed locally reclaimed and salvaged materials, Atlantic Workshop remodeled the retail and tasting room, counters, lighting, awnings, sculpture, displays, seating, and flooring to help create a beautifully unique Cape Cod look, while also showing consideration to the natural environment.
