Salvaged from a Scandinavian fishing boat, the beam of this chandelier was one of the integral timbers of a ship where the ribs met to create a union within the ship's hull. All the hand chiseled notches, where the beams would rest, are accentuated by the deep hues of the iron from embedded rusted pins.
The years of bilge paint layers have been sanded down and multiple coats of a high gloss finish have been applied to draw out the natural wood veins. The lights are 5 adjustable length Edison bulbs with newly manufactured cloth wire to give it a vintage look.
